Energy giant Petrobras has fixed the 187-tbp Normand Titan (built2007) for four years firm.

Oslo-listed Solstad will net NOK 400m ($66.7m) for the dealwhich runs from the third quarter of the year, it said in a statement.

The fee implies a day rate of around $45,700.

Petrobras has the option to extend the contract for up to fourmore years, subject to agreeing terms.

Normand Titan was one of 21 AHTS in Solstad's fleet at the turn of the year, around half of which operate in Brazilian waters.
