Norwegian shipowner Olympic has revealed an order for two offshore construction vessels following a record-breaking year.
The Stig Remoy-led company said the duo will be the most energy-efficient in their category worldwide.
The owner has not given a contract price but said the agreement will “generate contracts worth approximately NOK 1bn [$89m] for Norwegian businesses, including NOK 700m for the maritime cluster in north-western Norway”.
