Knut Engebretsen, a veteran offshore shipbroker, has died at the age of 89.
The Norwegian had remained active at Oslo-based brokerage firm Lorentzen & Stemoco (L&S) until recently, where he served as head of sale and purchase and newbuildings, chief executive Wilhelm Holst said.
Engebretsen worked for companies controlled by the Lorentzen shipping family for nearly 60 years.
