Shipowners have begun to remove anchor-handler tug supply (AHTS) ships from the North Sea market once more as earnings decline from a super-hot summer.

Brokers identified Viking Supply Ships’ 19,040-bhp Loke Viking (built 2010) as being laid up in Norway.

In addition, Seabrokers reported Maersk Supply Service's 23,500-bhp Maersk Achiever (built 2003) stacked in Fredericia, Denmark.

But the shipowner told TradeWinds: “Maersk Achiever is currently between contracts, but she has not been laid up.”
