Norway's Color Line has said it has not yet decided whether to make a controversial change to the flagging of its ro-paxes.

The company came under fire from unions and rivals for considering a switch for its two Kiel to Oslo ferries from the NOR register to the Norwegian International Ship Register (NIS).

Critics claimed this could allow it to bring in cheaper hospitality and service workers and make 700 Norwegian employees redundant, but the Norwegian government has to change its rules first.
