Bowspirit Kids Group, a charity which helps traumatised children, is looking to create the world’s largest floating pinboard.

The move is part of efforts to acquire a passenger ferry to operate year-round as a nautical recreation camp for sick children and their siblings.

Charity co-founder Michael Speckenbach said the pinboard will be plastered across the sides of the vessel.

Bowspirit, which was set up in Lubeck, Germany, this spring, has started crowdfunding, using a virtual pinboard to register entries of financial support.
