Greek industrialist and shipowner Constantine Angelopoulos died in Athens on Monday aged 75.

A member of one of Greece’s most prominent business clans, Angelopoulos founded shipping company Arcadia Shipmanagement in 1998. He named the tanker company after the southern Greek region from which his family hailed.

Angelopoulos expanded his shipping footprint just two years later, entering the bulker sector through another company, Aegean Bulk.
