Lasse Kristoffersen is stepping down as boss of Norwegian shipowner Torvald Klaveness to become chief executive of car carrier giant Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

He will begin in the new role no later than 1 June next year, after 10 years as president and chief executive at the Klaveness group.
