Shanghai Port, the world’s busiest container port, continues to see a recovery in throughput with volumes up nearly 3% in May.
The Chinese port handled 2.84mteu its second highest level in twelve months, data issued by the port’s operator has shown.
The growth rate was up slightly from April’s 2.5%, potentially offering an advance glimpse into how China’s trade in May fared.
