I am writing in response to the article from 29 October entitled "Clean Shipping Coalition calls on IMO to drop LNG from global warming reduction strategy".
This relates to the submission of a technical paper to the IMO that states LNG’s methane content will accelerate GHG emissions, despite having a lower carbon content than heavy fuel.
The submission was backed by a study from Norwegian research company, SINTEF Ocean.
