Operators of maritime waste treatment facilities are expanding to catch up with stricter IMO 2020 rules and capture new business opportunities created by them.
Fairdeal Marine Services, one of the earliest companies to set up such installations in the Middle East Gulf, announced it is planning to set up a string of plants throughout the region that can treat both oily sludge and sludge arising from flue gas treatment systems.
