Top shipping players from the European Union and major shipping nation Greece have offered starkly diverging views on the decarbonisation plan adopted by the International Maritime Organization earlier this year.
Speaking at a conference in Athens, the president of the Union of Greek Shipowners, Melina Travlos, launched a scathing criticism of the emissions agreement.
She branded it an unfeasible compromise that is unlikely to help the environment.
