National security adviser Michael Waltz, who has been credited with bringing a historic focus on maritime in the Trump White House, has a new job.
President Donald Trump announced that Waltz will be ambassador to the United Nations, after Fox News reported that he and other staffers in the National Security Council had been ousted just over three months after joining administration on its first day.
