The grounding of an Oldendorff Carriers bulker is impacting navigation in a key waterway for Argentina's grain exports.

The 61,000-dwt Johann Oldendorff (built 2014) suffered the grounding today near the Parana River port of San Nicolas, according to shipping agency Nabsa.

The incident is partially obstructing some navigation in the Parana's main shipping channel, and navigation is restricted in a secondary channel, according to the Buenos Aires company.
