A Farstad Shipping supply ship has suffered hull damage after going aground off Norway.

The 4,700-dwt Far Saga (built 2001) vessel touched bottom at the Fjord Base, Floro, on Monday night, local reports said.

An anti-pollution team was called to contain a possible oil spill, but no pollution has been reported.

Some diesel fuel has been pumped from the ship after it moored at the base.
