United Ocean Enterprise has sold one of its handysize bulk carriers, brokers say.

The 31,700-dwt Ocean Twins (built 2005) changed hands in a $23.5m deal, TradeWinds is told.

It was suggested in some circles the vessel was owned by Japan’s NYK Line, but a spokesperson for the company says it is only the charterer of the ship.

It is not yet clear who has bought the Saiki Heavy Industries built bulker.
