Singapore owner Trinity Offshore is in talks to buy a laid up anchor-handler (AHTS) from Vroon of the Netherlands.
Brokers said a deal has been lined up for the 5,500-hp VOS Olympian (built 2006) at $1m.
Vroon told TradeWinds the vessel is for sale and talks were ongoing with Trinity, but no sale has yet been concluded.
VesselsValue estimates the ship as worth $0.61m.
AIS data indicates it has been moored in Bangkok, Thailand, since last July, having moved there from the US.
Trinity has six OSVs built in the 1970s and 1980s.
But this would be its first AHTS.
