Sinotrans Shipping has made a rare vessel disposal offloading a modern handymax bulker to a fellow Sinotrans & CSC Holdings company.
The 57,065-dwt Da Cheng (built 2010) has been sold to privately-owned Shanghai Changhang Shipping for CNY 84.3m ($13.3m), according to a regulatory filing.
Sinotrans acquired the ship, which was built at Dalian Marine Diesel Co, in 2013 at a cost of CNY 95.1m.
