The RMS St Helena (built 1989), the ship that operated the UK’s last deep-sea passenger and cargo liner service, is reported as having been sold to London-based maritime security provider MNG Maritime.
According to the St Helena Independent, a newspaper on the remote island for which the St. Helena served as a lifeline for 27 years, it is due to be handed over to MNG shortly and renamed MNG Tahiti.
