Monaco-based Transocean Maritime Agencies has purchased a second Japanese controlled medium-range product tanker.
European broker sources said the company has bought the Shin Kurushima Dockyard-built 46,000-dwt High Enterprise (built 2009) from Doun Kisen for $14.2m.
Transocean is traditionally a bulker player, but went into the segment in July buying a Japanese-controlled sistership.
