Low-profile Transman Shipmanagers is selling its only remaining containership.
The Manios family-controlled company has shed the 2,490-teu Saint Nikolaos (built 2004) for $6.9m.
A spokesperson for Hamburg-based ER Capital Holding has confirmed broker reports that the Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft-built vessel is to enter its fleet at that price.
This is not the first time the Saint Nikolaos has been in German hands.
