Aleading European sale-and-purchase broker says the 50,400-dwt sisters Meriom Glory,Meriom Iris(both built 2008) and Meriom Topaz(built 2009) fetched $64m in total.
The youngest vessel is believed to havechanged hands for $22m while the other two are said to have gone for $21m each.
The price tags represent a discount of around$1.8m a piece when compared to the current market average for similar units,according an assessment by the VesselsValue.com
