Germany's Meyer Werft has capitalised on cruiseship orderbooks being at record levels.

The shipbuilder, with yards in Papenburg and Rostock, plus sister site Meyer Turku in Finland, has 21 such vessels on order.

They range in size from some of the largest in the world — at 180,000 gt and 5,200 lower berths — to an order from Saga Cruises for a second expedition-style newbuilding of 55,900 gt for 970 passengers.
