Lithuania's Western Shipyard has snapped up Norway's Marine Technology.

The company, established in 1994, is a supplier of equipment for the transport of high-voltage offshore cables, Western's parent group BLRT said.

It offers a wide range of services for concept development, production and implementation of equipment, as well as management of engineering projects for oil and gas and renewable energy sectors.
