South Korean shipbuilders are reported to have asked for an amendment to new government regulations over working hours.
The yards are among several industries arguing that they are unable to comply with the new 52-hour work week, reports the Yonhap news agency.
The Korea Employers Federation and the affected industries have called on the government to revise the regulation to reflect their “respective situations”.
