Japanese shipbuilders saw newbuilding export orders ease back in September, but the volumes were still ahead of the year-to-date average.
Orders were reported for 17 vessels of 668,098-gt, down 12% year on year and down 43.7% from August, Japan Ship Exporters Association (JSEA) data showed.
