Croatia could approve an HRK 150m ($22.5m) cash injection for shipbuilder 3 Maj.

Any investment is dependent on creditors giving the Rijeka-based shipyard more time to "resolve its obligations," according to finance minister Zdravko Maric.

3 Maj's parent Uljanik Group is in bankruptcy restructuring, but the subsidiary has avoided this so far.

The yard is due to deliver an MR tanker to Marflet at the end of this year, while it also has a car carrier and bulker on its books.
