A collapsed Chinese shipyard was finally sold on an online auction platform in the fifth bid and offloading the facility.

Jiangsu Eastern Heavy Industries (JEHI), subsidiary of JES International Holdings, was acquired by an unnamed buyer for CNY 826m ($116m), according to Chinese news reports.

Jingjiang People’s Court was seeking slightly more than CNY2bn last October when it first put up JEHI for sale.
