NITC Tankers is ordering an LNG dual-fuel aframax at Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex (ISOICO).
The 113,000-dwt newbuilding is the first order that the Iranian tanker giant has placed in more than a decade.
NITC managing director Hossein Shiva told the Tehran Times that the vessel will be the first Iranian tanker built to run on LNG and low-sulphur fuel.
