Samsung Heavy Industries has bagged an order for two suezmax tankers from Pantheon Tankers Management of Greece, after the yard is said to have lowered its newbuilding price to win business.

With the ink hardly dry on a deal for four similar vessels from Nordic American Tankers (NAT), the Koje-based shipyard has clinched the Greek owner's duo.

News of Pantheon's plan to order the 158,000-dwt tanker newbuildings was first reported by TradeWinds early this month.
