Russia's Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has chalked up a world first with an order for a trio of dual-fuelled product/chemical tanker newbuildings at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
The deal is believed to cover the first-ever ice-class 1A, LNG-powered, 50,000-dwt MR tanker newbuildings to have been officially inked.
