Japan’s Tsuneishi Shipbuilding has won an order for a methanol dual-fuel ultramax bulk carrier newbuilding.

Following on from Cargill’s recent order — placed through Mitsui & Co — for two methanol fuelled kamsarmax bulk carriers, Tsuneishi has added a contract for its 67,500-dwt Aeroline66 design capable of using the same green fuel.

The owner behind the ultramax order has not been disclosed.
