West Africa Gas has returned to Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) to order more gas carrier newbuildings.
The gas marketing company has signed up for two LPG carriers at the Ulsan-based shipyard.
The deal ends a six-year newbuilding hiatus for the African company.
A shipbuilding source familiar with the deal said West Africa Gas, a joint venture between Nigerian National Petroleum Corp and Ocean Bed Trading, has booked a pair of 23,000-cbm fully refrigerated LPG carrier newbuildings at the Ulsan-based shipyard.
