Yamanishi Shipbuilding, the Japanese yard that miraculously survived the country’s 2011 tsunami and earthquake, has given up for now on its attempt to find a corporate sponsor to help it emerge from court administration.
The company, which filed for protection from creditors at the end of January, had put out a tender for companies to bid participate in its corporate restructuring with a deadline set the end of May.
