Norwegian chemical tanker owner Odfjell is waiting for the swinging to stop.
The Bergen-based company said the number of product tankers dropping into chemical trades and snatching cargoes stabilised in the fourth quarter, but will take time to fully unwind as crude tanker rates need to strengthen first.
“This will take time,” chief executive Harald Fotland said during Odjfell’s fourth-quarter earnings call.
