The 99,000-dwt Eagle Baltimore (built 1996) has been sold to an undisclosed buyer "as is" in Singapore for $7.5m. The price is marginally over the scrap value of the Samsung Heavy Industries-built tanker, which has been in the fleet of Norway’s Global Skipsholding II, a fund controlled by Oslo private equity firm Obligo Shipping.
