Heidmar shows 24 reasons why it can peak above rest

A team from Heidmar has beaten all comers to make it first to the top in the Seafarers UK’s 24 Peaks Challenge.
Not only did Heidmar’s team of Felicity Burch, Sam Robin, Angus Douglas, Deepak Laishram, Charlotte Blackburn and James Pippard scale all 24 peaks on the 50-kilometre (31-mile) route in the UK’s Lake District National Park in under 24 hours, but they also managed a cheeky dip in a mountain lake while completing the feat.
The team from the tanker pool operator, which was a lead co-sponsor of the event, admitted to battling the effects of their nightly celebrations as they beat a path to each summit.
But they were unbowed, clocking the fastest time on the second day by nearly two hours and raising £6,000 ($7,940) for Seafarers UK.
The crew gave a huge shout out to team leader Charlotte Blackburn, who was not only described as “strong” but “determined to not only finish but overtake every team on the course”.
Blackburn said: "Heidmar would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us and gave us words of encouragement. It was all for a great cause and we look forward to next year’s event.”
