Fresh sanctions against Iran are beginning to be felt in the tanker market ahead of the 5 November implementation date, with the country's crude production at the lowest level in more than two years.
However, as other countries step in to fill the demand gap and NITC vessels are excluded from those trades, other shipowners should feel the positive effects, say researchers at Gibson Shipbrokers.
