Greek shipowner Adam Polemis has completed the fourth VLCC demolition sale of 2018, sources said.
His New Shipping placed the 280,000-dwt New Discovery (built 2000) on the market earlier this month.
Some had suggested the vessel had found a buyer looking to employ the tanker on a storage contract, however, it is now understood it has been scrapped.
