Low-profile Greek outfit Minoa Marine has bought a second vessel from Japan’s Fukujin Kisen in a move that makes both companies’ fleets younger.

Several brokers and other market sources identify Minoa as buyer of the 88,300-dwt Ikan Kedewas (built 2006), which Fukujin sold for about $12.5m. Managers at the Athens-based company declined to comment.

Minoa was set up as a shipmanagement outfit in 2015, when it made its debut with a quartet of panamaxes built in Japan between 1999 and 2001.
