Danish tanker owner Torm has sold three older vessels in the latest step in its fleet renewal efforts.

The disposals emerged as the company reported a third quarter loss at what it believes will be the bottom of the market cycle.

Torm says the 37,000-dwt Torm Ohio (built 2001), the 45,000-dwt Torm Clara and the 47,000-dwt Torm Neches (both built 2000) have been sold for a combined $20m.
