Dong-A Tanker has received temporary protection from the Seoul Bankruptcy Court.
Bae, Kim & Lee (BKL), the law firm representing the shipowner, confirmed the court protection. “Dong-A Tanker has been granted with interim protection," the firm said.
"That is a stay order prohibiting all enforcement, provisional attachment, provisional disposition or auction for execution of mortgage by any creditors until the court renders its order to commence rehabilitation proceedings."
