Splosna Plovba has sold two nine-year-old supramax bulkers as it continues to trim its fleet, according to European brokers.
The Slovenian shipowner has reportedly sold the 56,000-dwt Trenta and Tamar (both built 2010) for about $10m to $10.3m each. It is considered likely that the buyer is a Chinese-based company.
Splosna and major shareholder Dohle Group did not respond to requests for comment.
