Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) has revealed its latest fleet update plan to add 32 ships.

The UNB news agency reported that the state-run owner wants a range of tankers, bulkers, LNG carriers and boxships to join its fleet by 2041.

The aim is to cut back on charter fees of BDT 24bn ($284m) paid by the state each year to overseas owners, and boost profitability.
