Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) is expanding its specialist tanker fleet with an order in China.
UK shipbroker Clarksons reported that the giant energy company has contracted an 11,000-dwt molten sulphur ship due in 2027 from Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard Group.
No price has been given for the newbuilding, which is specifically designed to transport the heated cargo.
