Saudi Arabian tanker giant Bahri has reportedly sold its last veteran VLCC for scrapping.
The price for the 48,100-ldt, 300,000-dwt Ghawar (built 1996) has been reported as somewhere between $402 and $407 per ldt, meaning a maximum of $19.6m for Bahri.
VesselsValue estimates a price tag of nearly $19m for the vessel, both for further trading and on a scrap basis.
