Bergshav has denied reports that the Norwegian company has sold an 11-year-old aframax tanker in what, if true, would make for a well-timed asset play.
Brokers in the US and Greece said the Atle Bergshaven-controlled company sold the 115,000-dwt Berica (built 2018), possibly to Performance Shipping of Greece for $28.7m.
VesselsValue estimates the Sasebo Heavy Industries tanker is only worth $25.3m,
