De Poli Shipmanagement says 15 seafarers seized from a tanker in the Gulf of Guinea are "doing well under the difficult circumstances".

They have been held captive by pirates since the 19,800-dwt Davide B (built 2016) was attacked south of Benin on 11 March.

The management unit of Netherlands-based shipowner De Poli Tankers said contact has been made with the crew members and their captors.
