A ballasting product tanker is drifting at open sea in the Indian Ocean after an engine room blaze that was not caused by outside attack. One crew member is injured.
According to UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a fire broke out in the engine room on Tuesday evening and was extinguished by Wednesday noon London time.
UKMTO did not reveal the type or name of the ship.
