Grindrod Shipping has confirmed the sale of two tankers and announced a deal for one more as it moves away from tankers.
The Singaporean shipowner announced on Tuesday that it had sold the 50,000-dwt Leopard Sun and Leopard Moon (both built 2013) for $21.4m each to an unnamed buyer. TradeWinds had reported the sales in mid-March.
The company also said it sold the 16,900-dwt Breede (built 2009) for $6.8m.
